Moulay Idriss: this smallish village lies
beautifully situated on top of a small hill surrounded by mountains.- The mausoleum of Moulay Idriss: is the main attraction of the village and the reason for a huge yearly pilgrimage, visitors including the royal family. Non muslims may not enter the mausoleum but can get a nice view from further up the hill. Can be reacherd eighter by crossing the little medina or following the main road out of the village towardsthe top of the hill.
- Restaurants and cafes in Moulay Idriss: there are plenly of little cafes and eateries serving brochettes and salad and other small dishes to a small price (as always inquire about the price before ordering to avoid uncomfortable situations and fantasy prices) along the pedestrian road and square next to the mausoleum.
- Sleeping in Moulay Idriss: It s not allowed for non muslims to stay over night in Moulay Idriss.
